For example, schools and other high-risk environments need a fire alarm service 4 times a year, while other types of business may only need them twice a year.

What’s included in a Fire Safety Equipment Service?

 

During a standard fire alarm service Fire Secure will test your fire alarm system twice a year. This includes the system panel along with all the emergency lighting and fire extinguishers.

If you manage a block of flats, one visit will be the fire alarm system in each flat, and the other visit will be all other communal areas, ensuring every device gets tested within that year.

Emergency lighting will be tested on both visits with one visit being a 3-hour soak test on the emergency lighting. Fire extinguishers will be serviced annually.
